WOW!

Worst for business services. They tell you one thing on the phone when you sign up for services & then in the fine print you are committed to multiple years of a contract even if you thought it was a month to month or 1 yr agreement. Then if you wait the 2 years and pay on time, call back to cancel and am told that it auto renewed and if you don't cancel prior to the autorenewal, you are committed to ANOTHER year of service with no method of cancellation other than paying cancellation / termination fees.

The worst internet service I've ever had the misfortune of being forced to have. The apartment complex I live at currently is only serviced by WOW because internet companies have monopolies. I've had this service since December of 2022. The last year and a half of it has been awful. Back in August, we went about 10 days total with no service. The first time I call was on day 3 or so and I was told there was an outage. The service didn't come back so I called again a couple days later and had them do a signal reset. Didn't work. Unplugged the power cord, plug it back in. Didn't work. Unscrew the cable in the back and unplug the power cord. After the third time of unplugging and plugging stuff back in and disconnecting/reconnecting every device, it worked.... Until the next day. Finally after another call I was told that my modem was out of date and they'd need to send me a new one as well as a tech to test the internet lines. How was I supposed know it was out of date Whatever, let get this scheduled. We get it scheduled, I set up the new router and the tech shows up. Tech was great, very nice and professional. He brought a backup better motem and set it up, replaced the Y cable in our box and we had working service again..... For a few weeks. Service consistently stops everyday. We unplug the power, wait, plug it back in. Doesn't work. We unplug everything, wait, plug it back in. Doesn't work. We call and get a signal reset. Doesn't work. Disconnect all devices and reconnect. Doesn't work. Out of 4 different internet companies that I've use in my adult life, this one is the worst in terms of service.

Speeds are extremely inconsistent, paying for 1.2 gig internet but delivering 150-300mbps download and anywhere from 1mbps to 30mbps upload. Technicians stopped at the house and said they dont know why the speeds arent right, even with factory reset on the device. Customer service wants to charge $70 to come out to look at their faulty equipment. Slowest advertise upload speed I have ever seen, at prices higher than I have ever paid elsewhere, let alone charging for a technician to come out. Modem/router provided is extremely locked down with very little control over settings such as parental controls, cannot update software/firmware, etc. Promised $300 gift card for having 1.2 gig internet as part of their special for signing up, still have not received it months later and customer support won't do anything about it. Very unimpressed.
